Isla Mujeres, Mexico is a small, fabulous, tranquil small island located off the coast of Cancun. Its clear blue water, incredible coral reefs, sun yellow sand beaches, gently waving palm trees, migrating whale sharks, Mayan ruins, and giant iguanas that move over your foot sometimes when you’re not looking make it one of the top travel locations in the Riviera Maya.
Haha, if you read our previous Isla Mujeres post you don’t think I’d miss this one. There are now dozens of golf cart rental companies on Isla Mujeres, and though they do still occasionally run out during the holidays and busiest times of the year, most days you’re fine as long as you arrive before noon. You can pretty much drive to every place on the island, and if you’re there for multiple days, you can spend lazy afternoons on different beaches every day. You can walk or take a taxi most places on the island, but if you want true freedom, rent a golf cart and enjoy yourself.
Based in Isla Mujeres, near Punta Sur and the center of the island, Casa de Los Suenos has an enviable location. Right next to the turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean, you will be able to appreciate the sunsets of this paradise from the comfort of your suite. It’s a fact that you will experience a memorable vacation in this marvelous destination. Enjoy a dream vacation in Isla Mujeres, Mexico. See extra details at https://hotelcasasuenos.com/.
MUSA (Underwater Museum of Art in Isla Mujeres): One of the most popular activities in Isla Mujeres is to visit MUSA, (Museo Subacuatico de Arte). You can tour the underwater museum by glass bottom boat to enjoy over 500 sculptures by the creator Jason deCaires Taylor. For a better experience, and to get closer to the sculptures, head on a snorkelling tour or go scuba diving. MUSA was created to encourage visitors to visit an alternative area around Isla Mujeres taking the pressure off the nearby reef. Underwater sculpture parks are created as tourist attractions, but they are also used as artificial reefs to help promote the growth of coral and the return of more marine life. A visit to underwater sculptures (by the same artist) is also one of the top things to do in Grenada, and the Bahamas.

For those of you who enjoy the finer things in life, Dolphin Discovery also offers a VIP Dolphin Lounge, where you can cool off in the infinity pool and enjoy a seafood buffet and thirst-quenching drinks from the bar. Punta Sur is a popular tourist site, located on the southern tip of the island, 65 feet (19.8 meters) above sea level and boasting incredible views of Cancun in the distance. While the views alone are simply majestic, Punta Sur also has a sculpture park that was created to embody the Mayan Civilization.
